LIFE UPDATE 🎆 The places this amazing game takes us never cease to amaze. When my friend Vic Williams and I packed up GolfGetaways two decades ago, I never could have dreamed I’d someday be working for so many of my favorite destinations on the planet — and with such great people along the way. But here we are once again. I’m fortunate to announce a new partnership with the team at @GambleSands, working alongside longtime friend Robert Thompson (@Going4theGreen) and his crew from Matchplay Golf Marketing to help supercharge the Gamble Sands rocketship 🚀 in Washington as they unveil David McLay Kidd’s newest creation next summer. Here’s a big thanks to everyone who helped make this happen. I’ll be working behind the scenes and socials — and occasionally behind a camera — at Gamble Sands much in the same ways I contribute at Tobacco Road and with my friends from GolfPackagePros. Looking forward to the challenge as we continue spotlighting unforgettable, fun golf courses, resorts and adventures across America.

Catching up on responses to this … Here’s the problem with “holding a group back and letting others play through” on a busy day: It actually slows down and backs up the course even more. But nobody is ready to have that conversation 😂
