It was a warmer start to December than it is now. I was lucky to take a trip to
@ArklowGolfLinks
& got some nice warped photos of the fantastic course. You can see where the fresh water meets the Irish Sea at the side. The 4th that's curved at the bottom is a straight hole btw.

First penalty was a fairly blatant dive, but that was a miss by var, blowing the whistle when the counter attack was well & truly on was a shocker. Not booking Argentine players for some cynical play early wasn't great either.
Yellow card for Thuram was a great spot though.

The Arklow Bay Hotel is a fantastic place to stay if you plan on a few days.
