I did enjoy Angoramon going full ass dork fanboy with his book at least, it was a nice show of how much he's let down his walls compared to how the big issue they used to have was that he was too guarded to talk or even reveal himself at first

Might have some mistakes but roughly:
Hiro: For some reason, Gammamon evolved into Gulus. But unlike the usual dire circumstance he's just hanging out in my room.

I get where people come from, but I couldn't hate him. The moment in the sewers when he's offered the key out for just one sacrifice and he never considers anyone but himself. Making a call like that's who he really is under all the accumulated crap life piles on a person

That was pretty much how I interpreted Lopmon and Labramon lol. Shuuji's desire to love himself being Lopmon's clinginess and Aoi's wish to have more self-confidence reflected as Labramon being the number 1 Aoi superfan personal cheerleader

Plus there's still atleast some bit of Gulus that cares about big bro's opinion of him since even back when choking out Sealsdramon he kept checking back multiple times to scope Hiro's reactions and trying to prompt him to see things his way

Its kind of a case by case basis for me. In general I don't like the later stages tendency to start becoming mecha knights or humans in costumes, but the exceptions I find really cool, like the Cherubimon duo or MarineAngemon

Its from how the Japanese terms for the levels in the original v-pets are really just life stages. Baby, Child, and Adult. A mon would evolve to at least Adult/Champion minimum, reaching the next stage only happened if you met special reqs, else they would just die of old age

Like just the sound effects but no music? The game doesn't really have sound options, and it doesn't play if you delete the track unfortunately. I guess one workaround would be replacing the track in the songs folder with 2 and a half minutes of silence?

But as far as I know pretty much none of the Shrek characters really get much unironic horny attention so I guess Puss just got swept up in that antihorny aura

Minoru feels like the one they spice up dialogue the most with lol. The one that stood out the most to me was "This is bad! Takuma, run!" becoming "Oh jeez! Takuma my man, let's make like a bread truck and haul buns!"

I think that's probably what things are leading to, or at least a merging of Gulus and current Gammamon's mindsets, mainly with how Kiyo and Ruli seem really adamant that Gulus not be counted as a Gammamon evo and want to write him off as an evolution error but Hiro wants to talk

The brown part under the mask looks like the same tone as Symbare's usual brown undercoat, I don't think he necessarily turned into a human. To me it kind of looks like Battle Armored Symbare

These 2 and Shuji/Lopmon catch my interest most, part from them having a specifically bad relationship+Lopmon's rep for turning evil lol
The idea of a punk who's used to punching his way out of his problems being forced to rely on the friendship of a caterpillar is endearing
