Based on the art that @Naze1940_Erica had created about ww2 squad layouts. I REALLY loved that idea so I made my own for the Imperial enlisted squads as well as weapon references. I also refined the assault rifle and got their LMG design going

Conscript Squad of the Staevik Union They often don't have a lot of the better tech that the regulars and augmented soldiers do, but they fill the gaps in well, and with their HMG droid pair, they are able to provide enough fire to even any odds

Confederacy of Sovereign Colonial Nations/ Varnim Pact breakaway infantry squad loadouts. They generally have 3-5 'Tin-men' droids in the squad. The CSCN however, technologically is very behind compared to the other major powers int he free colonies.

Standard infantry squad of the United Colonial Republic (of Earth). Before the second secessionist crisis broke out, the UCR was using the Peacekeeper. A m4 derivative still chambered in 5.56. Years into the war, the UCR realized it was time for a better rifle.

Keep it clean Imperials on Omorfia. Unlike the invasion of Halle, it was a much quicker process, with the defending army buckling under pressure quickly. Cities did not get reduced to rubble nearly to the extent that Halle did and urban combat came down to picking off pockets

From the Pact/CSCN Civil War. The Early successes of Pact forces over the confederate Federal army, and the state armies that followed brought with it a wave of Confederates that were captured by the thousands by a more prepared Pact ground army and militias.

Combat on Arthania. Terra Forces engaged in less static positional fighting, unlike Halle, would end up more in a mobile war, leading Imperial forces around, jumping from positions to position, while trying to preserve their overall fighting force as much as possible.

Painting study from real photo Arthania was another of the Terran Federation worlds, designated as a fortress world. Much like Halle; it too would see an invasion by the imperial military. However, its frontlines were not distinguished by the bitter fanatic defenses of Halle.

More armor variations. Unlike the Imperials, the Army and Marines both use their universal armor system. They have a few extra armor types, for Orbital shock troopers or their Army Rangers and Naval Gheist Commandos, but the majority of their armed forces use the U.A.S platform.

Terran Guardsmen. These ones belonging to Halle's garrison. Guardsmen are only ever on their home planet. Most are not equipped nearly as well as enlisted combat arms units, with the muscle suits, and rather wear a chestplate and helmet. They make great auxiliary supporting units

Varnim Pact 177th Mechanized Infantry. Still extremely early in the civil war with the CSCN in this image, with the uniformity of their equipment. The 177th later would be redesignated as just an infantry unit, with the loss of so many irreplaceable ground vehicles later on.

This man is your friend. He fights for freedom. Terran Marine The distinguishing thing between marine forces and army early on in the war was the helmet The army mostly had open faced helmets and the marines had enclosed ones. Later all branches would adapt the marine helmet.
