New Blog: Domestic Abuse: A Jewish Womanās Perspective by @JewishWomensAid This week (3rdā9th February) is Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week, the UKās national week dedicated to raising awareness and fostering dialogue about these critical issues. Domestic abuse can affect anyone, but for Jewish women, it may come with unique challenges: misuse of religious teachings, gett refusal, and spiritual coercion deepens isolation and can make seeking help even harder. In our latest guest post, Ziona Handler, VAWG Outreach Lead at Jewish Womenās Aid, explores how abuse can manifest within Jewish communities, particularly during pregnancy and early motherhood. She sheds light on the realities women face and the culturally sensitive support available to them. No one should suffer in silence. Read the full post now: If you or someone you know needs help, reach out to Jewish Womenās Aid for confidential support.
