This high fee particularly impacts frequent traders. Additionally, there is a 2 ADA order fee, which is refundable, but still a burden for small traders. Why Are Fees So High? 1.Low Liquidity – Lower trading volume means liquidity providers (LPs) demand higher rewards. 2.EUTxO Model Impact – Unlike Ethereum, Cardano’s smart contract interactions can be costlier. 3.Lack of Competition – Limited DEX options result in less pressure to lower fees. How Can It Improve? 1.Lower Trading Fees – Align with market standards. 2.Adjust Order Fees – Make fees more flexible based on trade size. 3.Increase DEX Competition – More options could push fees down. Currently, Cardano DEX fees are relatively high. If fee structures improve and transaction efficiency increases, it will become much more competitive in the market.
