As part of our ongoing support for our community, Mr Allen's been busy at home using our 3D printer to produce visors to support the NHS. Mr Allen said "I want to be able to help our NHS, school hub & colleagues helping fight the virus in any way that I can."

Holly Williams from Santander presented the school with a cheque for £1,500 made payable to LATCH, to match the £1,500 raised by the school in fundraising at the end of last term. Chris has recently undergone treatment for brain cancer and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Congratulations to Levi Morgan (Year 8) who was presented with his debut banner at the Carmarthenshire Schools Football Presentation at Parc y Scarlets. He was also awarded Players ‘Player of the Year’. Joe Rodon who plays for Swansea City presented Levi with his award.

In a combined under 20’s and under 17’s race, Iwan finished 4th in the under 17’s category. He was also a year young in this age group and beat a number of under 20 international Welsh and foreign athletes. A superb run in muddy and hilly conditions. Da iawn Iwan 👍

Congratulations to Levi Morgan who represented Wales Schoolboys U13s Football v Bristol Rovers Academy yesterday. Even though Wales lost 2-0 it was an amazing achievement considering the team only met on the day and they were up against a very strong team. ⚽️⚽️

As a reward for collecting the most Sponsored Walk money 7HB were invited to the new Lifeboat Station @BurryPortRNLI where they were given a guided tour of the facilities.The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience & would like to thank the staff and crew members for their time

Today was an opportunity for pupils of Glan-y-Mor who support Pride group to unwind and show their colours. The group meet on a weekly basis to discuss LGBT related matters.

52 pupils led a Carol Service in Coleg Sir Gar for staff and students. A great time was had by all to get everyone in the festive mood before the Christmas holidays. @ColegSirGar

Years 10 & 11 travelled to The New Theatre, Cardiff on September 19th to see the West End performance of ‘Blood Brothers’. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all and the students loved the performance. It was a most successful trip and we were all very proud of our students
