@MalsDoxy Yes but nowhere around here will accept it. Thankfully last night one of the aides she had at the rehab last year called her back and is going to come out every other day to help get her bathed in the morning.

Would anyone be interested in buying some of my Adam merch? I have to find/gather it all but 2 unique things would be my Elliott puppet and Treapassing heart quilt. Sad to be getting rid of stuff but my mom needs an aide to come here to help and insurance will only cover half 😔

Feeling sad because my mom’s home health nurse got a new job and her last day with us was yesterday. She is one of the most caring supportive people I’ve met and we are all going to miss her like crazy. She surprised me with this last week for my birthday 🥹♥️

My mom has to go back to the hospital tomorrow for observation while she gets an injectable drug for the UTI she’s been battling since she came home. Please send good vibes/prayers her way that she is able to tolerate the drug & come back home quickly. I keep having flashbacks 😞

@PamDixie Yes a bunch of the aides and nurses from the rehab gave us their personal phone numbers in case we need help plus nurse will be coming every other day.

@PattiHum Yes every other day thankfully. They did train me how to do her wound and ostomy at the rehab so i think im ready for that. My dad will help with the hoyer lift bc i doubt i could do that myself as its manual. I definitely will.

Hi all. Just stopping by to give a little update on my mom. She will potentially be coming home on Wednesday dependent on getting a hospital bed and hoyer lift as she’s not able to walk yet (she’s been doing good at standing) and they are going to teach me how to do her wound.
