30 years since I last read Weaveworld, and I'm surprised how simplistic the story actually is yet so complex thematically. In all honesty, the story wouldn't have missed 200 or so pages, but I would then miss out on some of the most sumptuous prose I've had the pleasure to read.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is so enjoyable. It's great to play in the sandbox without the silliness introduced beyond the original trilogy But I've now encountered Battle Droids 😐 I've fought a creature that used wrestling moves 😐 If Jar Jar Bleeding Binks appears, I'm out 😆

The early morning PS5 session saw me return to a galaxy far, far away. I like that Cal isn't reset and has his powers from the off. I'm only an hour in but already trying to resist button mashing in combat 😆 Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is graphically beautiful.

Completed Wolfenstein: The New Colussus. The story was enjoyable and graphically stunning. This will benefit from a replay on a higher difficulty as I found the enemy count underwhelming and somewhat repetitive. There were too many cutscenes! Next up...Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Did I say 'batshit bonkers'? There was no need for this scene whatsoever 😆 Wolfenstein: The New Colossus is ridiculously over the top. Inglourious Basterds on acid.

Wolfenstein: The New Colossus ensured my early morning PS5 session involved a batshit bonkers storyline. I'm enjoying the game, but it really does feel underpopulated with enemies.

@TheSlumgullion It was the freezing and stuttering reported on release that stopped me getting it earlier. As long as the gameplay and collectable hunt match the first game I'm in.

@TheSlumgullion I loved the first, so I think I'll take a punt. I liked how it didn't pander too much to the movies. Might slot it in between Wolfenstein: New Order and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
