Very happy to see our work discussed on @vox_dev! We show that providing financial innovations like flexible microfinance loans through a menu of contracts that vary in price and flexibility ⬆️business outcomes but does not deteriorate repayment rates.
Offering loans with flexible repayment schedules can improve outcomes for vulnerable borrowers while reducing the risks faced by lending institutions. Last week on VoxDev, @giorgiabarboni @WarwickBSchool & Natalie Theys outlined new evidence from India:
