I will never forget that night. Literally every second of those last 24 hours was gut wrenching. And most of it happened at my parents’ dining room table in LA b/c it was the only place in the house in the hills where Jeff could get cell reception! Read the chapter in Astroball!

I spoke to Jeff this morning… he said he DID see Altuve’s homer- sort of. He was awake in the middle of the night, watching the animation of the pitches on the MLB app. He saw runners advance and realized what had happened and yelled out loud, HOLY SHIT! 🤣
