My granddaughter is. Pregnant for her 3rd child. After the birth she wants her tubes tied. She just found out that our lical hospital will no longer do that procedure so she has to go to a hospital 20 miles away and was told they will not do her birth either.

I am disappointed in our family and neighbors. For yrs hubbie snow blowed our neighbors driveways if we had snow while they were at work. No charge, for a clear driveway. I hear them blowing their driveways but not one does ours. My hubbie is 80, it scares me for him out there.

Our daughter, out of workforce for 20 yrs. applied for a childcare giver post at the local Y. They wanted a college degree, 2 yrs experience and the job was part time. No set hours of benefits. Who the hell would take such a job? No student graduate could afford to work there.

My SIL died and lost her battle with Alzheimer's. She may have lasted longer if she
would have been a nursing home, but her husband had promised that he would not put her in a nursing home. She is now free from that terrible
disease. I will miss her very much.

Where was this? I knew a woman whose daughter lost primary custody of her daughter. The child was severely asthmatic and it was aggravated by her mothers smoking. She refused to quit and lost custody.
