The missed handball isnt "teething problems". 3 referees with the aid of video have deemed it not to be a penalty and i'd love to hear why. You see that awarded as a penalty every week in leagues around the world. I find it hard to believe it wouldnt be given in the other box.

Celtic have hired Anton McElhone as their new head of Sports Science.
The position has been vacant since Jack Nayler left the club to join Leipzig in the summer.

He doesnt manage assets well. His transfer business is horrendous. For a club who's success will be determined by how well we manage our assets and through player trading, to consider Brendan Rodgers as the new manager would in my opinion be ridiculous.

Highly rated, young but able to come in and play for our first team right away. Chose to play regular football (more appearances than O'Riley had when he joined) rather than join a super clubs academy. Sounds a good bit of business to me!

Left back wise there were 20 who went for a fee over €3m. Of those 20, only 4 went to a league where clubs have a comparable budget to Celtic.

All clubs in Scotland (and most countries) need to do this. There are very few clubs who arent selling clubs nowadays. The EPL is THE Superleague now and where ultimately everyone wants to end up. As such we need to be THE club players want to launch to it from.

I doubt Celtic could do any more than they did to keep Ben Doak at the club. Once an EPL clubs comes in, what they can offer a 16yo is far above what we can offer. It's pish but its just how it is. We do the same to clubs in leagues below us. We're all part of the food chain.

Looking back at Rodgers time, he inherited a young squad from Delia. We had Moussa coming into the club, we had won trophies but the squad were ready to kick on. Rodgers made that squad play better. No doubt about it.

They did make a big profit on Fofana. However, he had to go on strike to get his move(familiar to Boyata situation) and it doesnt appear that any planning had been done for him leaving. Their defence has been a shambles for a few years now.
