When I use to go garden hopping, normally the fastest would hammer the person back door so by the time the slowest got over, the angry house owner would be waiting 😈🤭
The hardcore version of this was ‘garden hopping’ - clambering over fences from one back garden to the next while avoiding detection.

The Old Mill, Jesmond Dene, photographed by James Valentine in 1908. A watermill was first recorded here in 1739 known as Mabel's Mill. In 1848 it was known as Heaton Mill. Now a partial ruin this mill is thought to date from the mid to late 19th century.
