Yesterday was the start of my presidential year. It’s the first time the role has been taken on by a female state secondary school teacher, still active in the classroom. Feeling lots of expectation (mainly from me) but I will be 10% braver & share my journey!

Bed dilemmas. After many weeks of trying to decide on a new bed, for child number 2, I finally took the plunge. The main issue was I knew it would cover up Antarctica. I decided in the end to take this small hit. Unfortunately, Jack noticed straight away. He wasn’t impressed.

This 3D relief model is 19 years old. I gave it a new set of labels to brighten it up today. I KNOW it is NOT technically accurate but it was made by some lovely year 7s...who are now 30 yrs old. That’s a scary thought. It’s nailed to the wall....so it stays.

Geographically themed home-learning for pre-school, KS1 and 2 today. A traffic count in our village. Quieter roads meant a more diverse range of vehicles were able to pass through! I have the sheets on my drive if anyone wants them.
