One of the worst things about 139 was the utter dismissal of Ymir. She probably got the worst conclusion out of anyone. I cannot buy that the crux of her character was just a shotty, downright insulting revelation that she loved The King the entire time. That was all. Really.

The reason why I love Kakyoin so much is that he endured his darkest hour- this moment -, and still picked up the pieces of his fractured self. He was willing to confront DIO again, even if it meant death. He'd rather die as his reborn self than spend a lifetime of self-loathing.
