People fail to grasp why agents are important. Sports is a profession filled with employers and employees in a paradigm so unique it requires a union and set guidelines (CBA) to ensure players are protected. To say a certified agent who understands said rules is useless is silly.

Bad take. This is not an agent thing, it's an Owner/GM thing. The 3% (MAX) any agent would make is nominal compared to what either party could stand to lose in this scenario. The role of an agent is to PROTECT athletes (who've ALL been proven to be in a lower bargaining position)
