From reading today — the reason why Tibetans are able to live 13,000 ft. above sea level where oxygen is 40% lower is because they have at least 30 genes with SNPs that mutated ~2750 years ago, half of which have to do with oxygen absorption and use. The endothelial Per-Arnt-Sim domain protein 1 gene (EPAS1) is found in <10% of Han Chinese but ~90% of Tibetans (2 copies). It probably came from Denisovans if I had to guess.

@BachirSoHumble All of black history is just one big slop of worthless imagination and retarded coonery — why would this even be remotely true?

I call this the Bill Maher™️: - Go along with extremely deranged left-wing ideas for decades without question. - Finally muster up the courage to be critical of said left-wing ideas when it’s popular to do so (like when Harris loses the election, woke ideology is now suddenly bad). - Scream at the natural reaction to these deranged left-wing ideas that you pretend you were almost against but actually weren’t. Rinse and repeat.
For over a decade, self-righteous bullies gathered online and weaponized cancel culture. Now, the result is this abysmal overcorrection where all norms of decency are gleefully destroyed. What an incredible self-own everyone else still has to suffer through.

@ChrisMurphyCT When people shout DEI, what they’re really saying is they don’t want large groups of people who, based purely on merit, wouldn’t have representation in cognitively demanding fields due to their group’s average IQ compared to other racial groups. Even Harvard admits it.

People within and influential to the current administration, and those who drive their thinking from the outside, liked this post. Feeling more optimistic than ever — it's time to take the FDR pill.

@renaissancepe20 Yes!
I’ll probably talk about this more later, but many of the arguments Amity Shlaes made in The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression — particularly about FDR’s presence and constant proactive communication playing a significant role in getting the public on his side, even if the New Deal didn’t really address (and might have even worsened!) the issues during the Great Depression — probably apply to Trump as well (especially relative to Biden).
