It was never just a “memorial service”. It was a political evangelism service to pull people away from the legitimate Gospel and into “christian nationalism” or whatever name you may want to use.

Earlier today I talked about how Kirk's funeral was going to be a syncretization of MAGA politics with hollowed out Evangelical praxis. Here's an example of that, guest starring what sounds a lot like disqualified 'pastor' Mark Driscoll desperately trying to keep him on message.
A lot of people don’t know that Charlie Kirk openly attacked churches who refused to preach pro-Trump politics. Here is Charlie Kirk attacking Arizona’s Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) for not proclaiming MAGA politics from the pulpit.

I don’t know what the over / under is on Kirk’s memorial service today, but my suspicion is that we’re going to hear a LOT more about “the Left” and politics than we will about Jesus. Music doesn’t count - only the lectures / speeches do.
This is remarkable on so many levels. May the Lord Jesus continue to receive all the glory for what he is doing thru the life and death of Charlie Kirk.
