This study was led by the fabulous Sarah Eley, who isn't on twitter and Dr Andy Stanfield both of @PWCentre . We need to be mindful of crediting and acknowledging females in a female dominated profession!!!
Evidence shows that physical health conditions in people with learning disabilities can be missed and lead to premature death. Researchers incl.@gearoidbrennan @scotttaylor examined nurses' attitudes and confidence with this and here is what they found:

@maxwele2 I attended in 2023 and it was a fabulous conference I have to say! Was also super impressed by the posters and oral presentations, and collaboration between clinicians & academics. Same when I went to the TCD one!

@maxwele2 @GeoffStone10 The wages are definitely better. I also think education is genuinely really valued in Ireland in a way it is not in the UK. But i'm not sure it's ok that Dublin is more expensive than London when you consider the difference in population. The roads & the hospitality tbf 🤣
