Excited to share our latest project! Does age matter when deciding bw clipping v coiling for the best outcomes with tx of ruptured intracranial aneurysms? Turns out younger patients fare better with coiling, while older patients fare the same for both.

alerts, learning how to read both benign & pathological signs on angios, watching single pass M1 clot aspirations, and working alongside medicine/PT/OT for best patient

An irreconcilable loss for the field of neurology & an inspiration in the world of stoke care. He was never too busy to welcome us at AAN meetings, especially me & the other med students at the time. May he rest in peace. My thoughts are with his family & the UMiami community.

Next week marks 1 year from when my beloved grandfather was diagnosed with GBM. His diagnosis was followed by dark times, as treatments, although being explored, remain limited. Today, I think of him more, as well as others who have lost their battles with this disease
