Over the past 2 weeks we have seen new AI models making headlines: first DeepSeek-R1 from China, then yesterday's launch of OpenAI's o3-mini. What does this mean for projects like $GATSBY that rely heavily on high quality, fast and cheap models? Gatsby is LLM-agnostic, it is built to work with any model, be it proprietary like OpenAI or open source like DeepSeek. This lets us quickly iterate, fine-tune and use the best tool for the job (providing alpha!). We've already tested both models in our existing workflows and are seeing great results. As the cost of inference decreases (while simultaneously increasing in quality), Gatsby will be able to provide increasingly sophisticated analysis, data processing and insights. How significant is the recent jump? o3-mini can be used to generate results exceeding OpenAI's own o1 in complexity which has been considered the current state of the art for many reasoning tasks. DeepSeek-R1 came in and reached performance very similar to o1 at a fraction of the cost (30 times less). While o3-mini is slightly more expensive than R1, the benchmarks put it squarely above it in terms of performance, making this development extremely exciting. The past couple of years have been defined by new models being regularly released and leap-frogging what the previous generation was capable of. As this trend continues, the opportunities it'll unlock for Gatsby are incredible. In light of the recent developments, we're more confident than ever in our ability to provide traders an entire new way of experiencing the blockchain.

The latest batch of updates has been live for a few days now and our testers are having fun with it. Articulated and very detailed queries such as this one now work smoothly: "Show me ai tokens launched in the last 2 weeks that have increased in price by more than 50% in the past 5 days, of those tokens, find me the top 20 holders of them, show me what other tokens they bought, order by the number of times a token was bought by different wallets, exclude ethereum, stablecoins and the token itself" Pretty cool, huh?

This would allow them to integrate with our query engine and be able to provide accurate real time and historical trading data to their users. Spotting big buys Whale moves = market trends. Spotting the biggest token buys in real-time can give you an edge. Market conditions can shift within minutes, staying ahead often means being able to identify trends, follow the moves of influential players, and act on data-driven insights. "Every big trade tells a story." The way Gatsby works is the data is pulled directly from the blockchain using natural language allowing for queries like: 'Show me the biggest buys of the past 24h for tokens launched in the last week.' Dex screeners only let you filter trades on a single pair. Gatsby gives you a complete view, showing the biggest buys across all tokens across the whole chain. The interface makes it simple to access and analyze on-chain data by removing the technical and accessibility barriers. Complex analysis is made simple, all you have to do is type your query in the search bar. Gatsby uses its own First Party database with readily available data, allowing for Real-time accuracy and custom advanced filters for your research.
