@EdKrassen He's saying they are not equal. They are subservient vassals that "need to make peace" because they refuse to give up and continue to kill Russian invaders in the thousands. They could have avoided the war so they need to make peace. They are an inconvenience to the US and Russia

@krassenstein Musk is doing a good job of destroying Tesla as evidenced by the huge drop in sales of Tesla vehicles over the last quarter. Canada imposing tariffs on Teslas may exacerbate the decline as well as reinforce the connection between President Musk and his counterproductive tariffs

China will use this to gauge how the West will support Taiwan if or when China decides to invade Taiwan. If support for Ukraine remains strong they know the cost of invading will be high
