The sad part is that the military overspends on pork barrel boondoggles and underspends on necessities. Much of military housing is unfit for human habitation. Service people are given overpriced junk food to eat (a reason they keep getting fatter). We are woefully understocked on missiles, artillery and all other ammunition. Training is well below requirements. We spend shocking amounts on fancy new high-tech fighter planes that look sexy in recruiting ads but are available for flying duty only 30% of the time at best. The disastrus Osprey VTOL craft is a known vicious widow-maker, yet they still insist on killing US Marines with it rather than admit their mistake and junk the fleet. The Navy's stupidly designed and badly built Littoral Warfare craft was such a disaster that after the Navy finally bailed, building only half of them for a cost far above what the entire run was supposed to cost, third world nations refused to accept the decommissioned vessels even for free. The Coast Guard was neglected to the point that it is down to one worn out semi-reliable heavy polar capable ice breaker and just bought a problematic used one as a stop gap; hopefully it will not turn out to be a death trap. The newest fancy shmancy high tech scope for infantry rifles is reviled as utter junk by the troops who actually use it, but their complaints fall on deaf ears. What a mess.

@WallStreetApes @IanCarrollShow The crazy thing is, this is just the tip of the spear. It’s money laundering at its finest. However, the money laundering that has come through DOD is going to make U.S.A.I.D. look like child’s play.

Charming. Totally ignorant of history. Alta California was a completely seperate Province from Mexico under the Spanish Vice-Royalty of New Spain - in other words, the Californios were no more Mexican than Kentuckians are New Yorkers. It had its own distinct culture, economy and government. After Mexican Independence from Spain in the early 1820's, California became a territory of Mexico, not even a State, much as The Phillipines were to the USA in the early 20th Century, or Guam is now. That relationship where California was arguably "part" of Mexico lasted only 26 years. That's right - only 26 years before Mexico ceded the Southwest to the US in 1848 in exchange for cash. That's it. Mexico got paid for California, just as Russia would later get paid for selling Alaska to the US. Put another way, for over 200 years California was part of the Spanish Empire, for 26 short and tenuous years it was a remote territory of Mexico, for a few short years it was its own Republic, and for 175 years it has been part of the United States, becoming a US State in 1850. So it is absurd for this intentionally uneducated lout to hoist a *Mexican* flag on California soil and call it "Mi Tierra." She is an ignorant pendaja, and it is a pity she was not raised and schooled better.

24-year-old Mexican nationalist Crystal Aguilar, was arrested at Hart Park in Bakersfield, CA after she cut down the American flag, threw it in the mud, and raised the Mexico flag in its place. She then threatened the lives of police officers. Deport.

I believe there are people who make a valid, well considered and honest decision *as fully grown persons* to live their lives as the opposite sex in a respectful manner. As a historical example just look up Billy Tipton. And for examples today, there is Blair White and Moni @MoniFunGirl. That is a separate question entirely from whether parents or doctors should take it upon themselves to impose "choices" (or, rather, innocent and vulnerable compliance) on children and young adults that permanently and irrevocably often catastrphically alter them, particularly where the motivation may be ego, social activism, or greed.

This is the perfect explanation of why parents who submitted to the child mutilation cult will never be able to come to terms with what they have done to those they were meant protect above anyone else on earth.

An American hero. Thanks to his incredibly hard work and courageous leadership, voters in Pennsylvania from all parties rallied on November 5 to beat the cheat and elect our President Donald Trump. Pressler was a major force in delivering Pennsylvania, and he inspired Americans everywhere.

Well, a lot of folks are attacking me, but I’m just going to keep my head down & continue putting in the work. My goal is to achieve a plurality of registered Republican voters in Pennsylvania by 2028. We’re 105,194 active voters from accomplishing this goal. No breaks.

@JimmbboJim @RobertMSterling IIRC, Nancy Pelosi said it first in one of her many Mean Girl moments, and Obama said it afterwards. In keeping with his pattern of never having an original though in his life. Whenever he spoke, you could see Bill Ayers' or Valerie Jarret's lips move . . . .

Thank you. Moni, like you, has taught many that it is important to respect the personal life choices of transexuals while also recognizing the identity and rights and spaces of born women. Both you and Moni embody the truth that respect needs to go in both directions. Bless you both.

America is wide open to legitimate refugees and anyone who comes here *legally.* As it should be. What infuriates me is how Biden just abandoned Afghan translators and other contract workers assisting the US at military bases, etc., some of whom are US citizens and Green Card holders who had gone back to help the US. Biden gave the Taliban $40B a month. He should have said not one damn dime untill after *all* the Afghan translators and other contractors and their families were safely in the US. Instead, he left them behind for the Taliban to hunt down and execute like dogs.

When I said that American seasonal workers like the ones I described typically work all but "a few" weeks a year, I literally meant "a few" - in the well accepted American meaning of "between three and five,"most often interpreted as "around three." When did I say that they work " a few months" and then blithely asking for assistance the rest of the year?????? They don't - they may work more weeks and a lot more hours a year than you. I was working 14 hour summer days doing farm labor alongside these hardworking people in the blazing Central Califinia sun. Just because these workers are not part of the high tech contract/consultant gig economy and do not work at keyboards does not mean that they deserve any less respect as other non-permanent workers. Do you also think less of teachers who takes a lot more time off a year than ? Summer lifeguards/winter ski instructors? You need to adjust your perceptions and see what I put right in front of you, not rely on stereotypes fostered by those who do not have the remotest ideas what they are talking about.

I am glad you have year round work, but you need to learn more about seasonal workers. They work all the jobs they can get, and will travel from harvest to harvest, across packing and canning seasons. They will work in different industries - planting in the spring, harvest and canning and packing in the summer and fall, warehouse and loading dock work in holiday season, resort related work in ski season, etc. Some of them pour beer for you at the ball park, and you don't wonder what they do when the park is closed for the season. The answer is they work at something else. In years past, they might have a few weeks off at most a year, with no assistance. These are proud, hardworking Americans that put food on your table and products on your shelves and make your life better. Be grateful for them. But they have been increasingly pushed out by illegals. That is what makes this so infuriating.

I have no words. There are American citizen seasonal workers who follow the crop cycles and travel sometimes across multiple states to get as much work as they can. They are proud and hardworking Americans. When work is not there (or they are pushed out of a harvest or canning or packing season by illegal workers) they may rely temporarily on assistance. Thsi story broke my heart.

American is a seasonal worker, he’s struggling so he went to get assistance from the Department of Families For his family of 5 “They gave me a card with $500. I am grateful” “I went with a family from Venezuela, Family of 5 — They gave them $3,500” “This is why most American citizens are really pissed off. You know, we work hard, we paid our taxes, we contribute to society, and we are second class citizens.” “Once again, I am grateful because I am spending my money and food for my home, you know, but we as Americans, we got $500. I guess I had to be a, an immigrant to get 3,500 bucks. And I'm serious. This is the truth. I ain't got no words….”
