This is not a good take. Designing any chip that actually works is really hard.Designing a programmable chip with the magical experience CUDA gives you is near impossible.Designing it over multiple generations with near 100% consistency is a monster feat. All due respect to TSMC.
What's crazy when you read about Taiwan Semiconductors (TSMC) is you realize Nvidia are essentially dropshippers.
