Our reviews have been slowing down recently and we wanted to let our followers know that we’ve taken the decision to wind down The Game Shelf for the foreseeable future. In just a few months we’re expecting a new and all consuming addition to our family!

We rang in the New Year with a couple of our favourite recent games - Forest Shuffle and Infiltraitors, making December one of our best months of the year for games played.

@CardboardEast That's a real shame! Do you have any experience of whether game shops might stock other Asian games? I've been looking online and all of the games I see listed are western releases.

First time visit to @BadMoonCafe2 - what a massive gaming space to find in Central London. It's packed in here on a Wednesday night! The only space left for me is this corner of the bar 🤣

We're finishing July with our weekly Frosthaven game. It's been an OK month for games with a few solo games on a weekend break and a couple if game nights at home. Definitely a month for exploring games from other countries.

In between session 2 and 3 of Frosthaven, each player painted their own mini. They all look a little different, but it was a really nice thing to do.

Such an interesting winner. I love this game, but I'm wondering what will happen next. Is Dorfromantik already independently known as an excellent board game in its own right, or will it be primarily played by those who knew the PC version first?
