@slmandel It is so obviously better to go for it on the first touchdown (if you fail, you get a freeroll to get it back on the second). Just unbelievable coaches still cannot figure out basic strategy in 2024.

1 Oregon 8 Ohio State / 9 Tennessee 4 ASU 5 Texas / 12 Clemson 2 Georgia 7 ND / 10 Indiana 3 Boise State 6 Penn State / 11 SMU Nightmare for Alabama (and also for ND, Texas and PSU both losing close might keep them out of the coveted 5/6 slots. ND/Indiana would be lit though

Clemson is currently +220 to be the 12 seed on FD which seems absolutely batshit. Would think they're a stone cold lock. Although I'm worried as it seems like something may have leaked, SMU is now -1000 to be in, Texas is -1600 to be the 5 seed.

Three fun facts about this year's CFB schedule that I don't think have ever happened before: 1. @FSUFootball and @ClemsonFB are in the same conference, yet have zero common opponents 2. @GatorsFB is 13% to win 7+ games. If they played conference-mate @MizzouFootball schedule's instead, they would be 75% to win 7+ games 3. @CUBuffsFootball has currently projected single digit point spreads in all 12 of their games

@haralabob My original post said we should also kill race walking, but edited it out bc not germane to bolt vs Phelps. Also, like hurdles, is empirically different enough from running that afaik multiple people have not been able to medal in both. (Unlike different swim strokes)
