Weird flex, speaking as a disabled veteran. Yes. Morbidly obese are disabled. Albeit, by life choices— and not scratching the surface of poisons in food creating issues with their body and so many Americans’ bodies. Same could be said about my service connected disabilities. I chose to serve my country, Knowing the risks. It was my life choice and I regret nothing. Would do it again, especially for people like you, like her. No. To your question. I think the issue hasn’t been pushed enough for the change and PR virtue signaling. And as I said to the other person, they already lose money giving a second seat away to accommodate. By having extra large seating, and a flight without an extra large person, a standard size human would enjoy the large seat and leg room. Just as not handicapped females have no problem swooping into the handicapped stall when handicapped aren’t around.

They already eat the cost when they give a second seat for free. Wouldn’t be bitching if there wasn’t a large person on your flight and you got to sit in that oversized seat, would you? Do you feel a type of way about handicapped spots filled or empty? Get all bent when they’re empty bc you could be parked closer to the door? Real question.

All the more reason for flights with oversized disabled seating for large bodies. Rn, they get a second seat for free. So, there’s already a revenue loss. Oversized humans can have the Row A after first class. It’s spacious up there. And with over sized seating, they wouldn’t overflow into other patron space.
