I had a guy at a sewing machine shop tell me once that machine needles should be replaced for every 8 hours of sewing use. Literally couldn't restrain myself from laughing, only 8 hours of use is INSANE.
This needle finally broke yesterday... It lasted approximately 8 MONTHS.
