Writers make large sacrifices to make indie creator-owned books happen. I think all the writers I've worked with have paid themselves nothing or close to nothing to actually produce the book. Not sure I'm supposed to say that but I think it's well-understood comic book economics

Often when I do a commission, I question it's quality, and my self-worth as an artist, then I shelf the drawing and start over. So, there are TWO versions of many pieces I do. This Big Barda/Mr. Miracle is one. I'll be putting this in one of the mystery boxes I'm selling. Thanks

Wow, I hit 6,000 Followers. Thanks everyone. Only took me about 7 years to go from 5K to 6K.😂Here's a look at the rough layout before inks. Sadly, my layouts have a lot of natural energy and flow that gets lost in the Finish. Over-rendering is bad, yet I still fall for it 🤷♂️
