I think this is the sweet spot for anthro character designs. Most artists just take ears n tail, but making it resemble the animal closer like this without getting in toon territory is peak imo.
My new tabaxi Melantha battlemaster/thief, wanted to make a grounded adventure type character inspired by ac: origin with Egypt/greek elements to the design.
