@DerDesFr @andreloez On peut regretter l'absence de position éclairée sur d'autres sujets en s'abstenant de hiérarchiser les horreurs en fonction de quelle situation affecte le plus les 'intérêts' de la France. Et ce qui se passe à Gaza n'a pas 'que des répercussions mineures sur la France'

@DerDesFr @andreloez Je parle de 'supposés intérêts' en général pour souligner qu'une soit disant non-existence d'intérêt ne justifie pas la relégation d'une question internationale.

@DerDesFr @andreloez Bien content d'apprendre que si une question internationale n'a a priori pas d'influence sur les intérêts français on peut laisser faire un génocide. La France a des obligations internationales, peu importe ses supposés intérêts.

@BeaudouxCelyan @andreloez Non, quoique cela devrait faire l'objet d'un traitement médiatique et politique quotidien et constant. Mais je suspecte que c'est à ça qu'on fait souvent référence quand on parle des positions internationales de LFI.

@andreloez Quelles positions internationales par curiosité ? Je pense que Mélenchon a souvent été hors sol sur les questions internationales, mais LFI a en revanche été le seul parti présent au parlement à ne pas se vautrer lamentablement sur la question de Gaza

@ElaiRettig Among your different political scenarios you include annexation and continued occupation. Then you refuse to say which scenario is 'preferable'. You're not even able to dismiss these two scenarios as illegal and even suggest that annexation might be lawful sometime.

@LJIL_Leiden How obscene and cynical this is. And they dare to present this as something that 'will benefit' the Palestinians. What about preventing the genocide if you want Palestinians to benefit from something in the future? How on earth would a respected IL journal publish this NOW?

@ntinatzouvala I am convinced that at the end of the 99-year ‘initial period’, genuine self-determination will be achieved and that the UK will return the island and allow the Chagossians to resettle there once the sea level has submerged it.
