@itsmyamygdala I really don't think it's pushing your own agenda to encourage them to look at other options and to focus on the support they think they might need Vs a dx that is very sticky

@adamfare1996 ABA is the only thing covered in US. So whilst I'm anti ABA lots of people access speech, OT & support labelled "ABA" & parents who are anti-ABA actively look for "fake ABA" in order to get any support covered.

Check out >>> @CRAE_IOE soon for a summary of our findings about the perceptual experiences of both groups... I'm slightly too excited & so so thankful to everyone involved especially @annaremington and the consultants with lived experience 🎉

@RightfulLives @Autism So frustrating that someone who can't diagnose autism can remove diagnosis during crisis!

@HannahtheOT Also just absolutely not willing to accept that maybe needed extra processing time, extra time to calm down...but I'm this situation not 'extra time' just ANY time!

@HannahtheOT @theRCOT @The_HCPC @nmcnews My research centre but out ethics come under the university. I guess it is something that will change but currently it's like confidentiality within the team and AI isn't in the team! We can use it but everything has to be anon/ psudonomised

@kizzythechemist Yep there is no need for this role to be fully in-person, & at this institution it is fully the managers decision so they are choosing to think that ECRs aren't disabled, don't have kids/ other caring responsibilities.

@adamfare1996 @kizzythechemist Even without diagnosis it's worth mentioning its being considered to any anaesthetists you see. Glad there are some steps towards answers for you.

@kizzythechemist @Shrink_at_Large Aww thanks. I'm good until 2027. I was more highlighting that in an MDT there aren't CCOs to be 'checking in' with patients anymore
