#DidYouKnow that the #Voyageurs navigating the #FrenchRiver in search of fur-rich lands had to carry quite a load?🛶🦫 Embarking west, their canoes were loaded to the gunwales with trade goods packed in 90 pound 'pieces’. Each canoe carried around 65 pieces! #OntarioParks
