Well this is terrifying, and misguided! Time and again, backdoors are requested and every time, it is rightly pointed out that as soon as any backdoor is created, it will be used for nefarious purposes and cause infinitely more issues than ever could be argued to solve.
The U.K. is coming after all encryption.

Unfortunately we didn't come away with the win at the @INATBA_org gala, losing out to @Nexo and their payment card. Still great to be considered and seen alongside the likes of @Nexo! Also loved seeing @earthid_ssi win the corporate innovation award and @IndicioID nominated too! Good reminder to follow-up!
Just arrived in Brussels for the @INATBA_org Awards to represent @cheqd_io for our second nomination in as many years, but first a roundtable with regulators across the #EU, hopefully the first of many this year as the DID and credential markets mature in Europe!

Big day for @cheqd_io with regards to EU regulator discussions. A roundtable via @INATBA_org and @Tweetddale having a separate workshop via the @EuropeanSandbox. Feels like a new phase for DID / VC: tech is ready, market is now rapidly maturing, especially regulatory space.
