True, and it’s brilliant that you shed light on the issue — but as a creator yourself and the owner of an account with hundreds of thousands of impressions a day, you could lead by example and avoid sporting a profile picture where the ‘Visit Rwanda’ sleeve sponsor is prominently pushed toward the camera lens.
I don’t think our fanbase is making enough of a deal about this situation. We need to put pressure on the club to end the sponsorship because it’s completely unacceptable.

@AdamJoseph____ The equaliser might not have happened without him but they’d probably score a lot more goals without him. With a proper striker they wouldn’t have needed a late equaliser and a ‘lucky’ bounce at home to Leicester. Looks miles off it, unfortunately.

I see your point, but I somewhat disagree. Fofana was bought while Potter was manager in January 2023 and might not have been a signing he advocated for. Since then, Chelsea have had Lampard, Pochettino, and now Maresca as managers, while Fofana has been out on loan at Union Berlin, Burnley, and Göztepe. The nature of Chelsea in recent years has been such that a manager is always a couple of losses away from getting sacked, so there’s minimal risk-taking when it comes to team selection. When none of the managers in the last few years advocated for Fofana’s signing, they were always going to go with players they trusted the most. If he were a shiny new toy bought for £60m now, he would certainly get loads of chances, even if he had a string of average games.

@themagic_tophat Not even that far apart from Villa’s valuation — Arsenal offered ~£50m incl. bonuses (no clue if they were easily achievable or not).

Aston Villa are expecting an improved offer from Arsenal for Ollie Watkins. First approach made last week. Player wants the move, as @TheSecretScout_ first reported.
