Wijnaldum’s key role for LFC was in defensive transition. If Fabinho (or Henderson) was dragged out of position as Klopp’s 6, Wijnaldum would often be positioned to fill the gap vacated. This hasn’t happened as much in their midfield this season & has resulted in a leaky defence.
