Took the kid to out first dad/daughter saints game yesterday. Whether they won or lost this guy already had a great sunday. They are only kids a short time so enjoy it. Turns out i needed this weekend more than i knew. I hope she cherishes it as much i do as she gets older.

So yesterday with no games my mind was wandering (dangerous) & I thought about how great the LSU/LT game was & we need more of it.
Louisiana should have a rotating OOC weekend with LSU, LT, Tulane, ULL. Round robin hosted by 1 team each year. Lock it in for 4 years so all host.

Blake Baker played at tulane, was dc at tech, lb coach at lsu. Wife played soccer at lsu and is from mandeville. doesnt mean he will leave mizzou after the new contract but the ties are there to come back.

This is why I advocate that all preseason games should be in places that don’t have an nfl team. Send preseason games overseas not regular season ones. Saints and Dallas should be playing in Shreveport every year.

Ouachita parish at one time the largest LSU aluminum base in state outside of BR. Hundreds if not more in the 318 have saints season tickets. I’ve done sports talk radio for over 15 years and a majority of calls are saints and LSU /SEC. Sure culture might be different but 🏈
