The animators deserve nothing but support and respect from us fans. They’ve worked so hard and if they need a break I am willing to wait as long as it takes. Mahito v Yuji is perhaps the most important fight in the series to me, and I want the animators to enjoy it.

Adding to this! Humans always have a desire to fight. His existence was based on that. He never pleaded for his life. He and death knew each other. He would accept it when it came, but he wouldn’t ever give up a chance to live. He fought until the last glimmer of hope faded.
i think he knew it wouldn't do a thing, he knew this was over, but he childishly clung to any hope he could find, searching desperately for something, anything. he didn't want to die.

I hate the powerscaling debates bc they just prove that that’s all so many ppl rank their fav characters by. Not creativity or uniqueness, or how well they fit into the story, or even how completed their character arcs are/how much they grow and learn.

The curses are my favorite villians ever for this exact reason. They just wanted to live in a world where they had the same opportunity and right to life as humans, and weren’t hunted down from birth by sorcerers.
jjk is probably the first thing ive seen in a long time, maybe ever, where i feel genuinely bad for both the villains and heroes. i cant be mad at either because i know they are each fighting for their own respective rights and survival. thats what mahito vs. yuji symbolizes.
