im autistic and i do think this is a valid apology. hes taking accountability for it without just excusing it, and esp with a language barrier, i imagine nuance and implications of certain slurs may not be shared in the same way. esp one thats still as frequently used as this one
Hello, I wanted to say big apologies what I said in the radio today. Obviously I didn’t use it intentionally and was completely misunderstanding from myself that exact meaning of it. I now have better understanding for what the word means and am very apologetic for what I said.

i think many will understand not liking jacques. most people who met him (my mom included) say he was one of the most unpleasant people to talk to. he’s stuck-up, self-centred, and rude. idk about anything he’s said on french tv but definitely take his words w a grain of salt :(
