the gentleman who proudly wore an Israeli military uniform to his congressional job is explaining how American diplomacy should be conducted? seriously?
BRENNAN: I'm sorry, can I follow up on what you just said. You want to authorize "purging" of State Department personnel? REP. BRIAN MAST: DEI has been a priority over, let's say, diplomacy

oh, there will be many tests before elections whenever they finally come. and there already have been a few tests.
@fordrs58 The test will be what happens after islamist jihadis win elections. See the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt and Hamas in Gaza.

Cotton didn't mention a second principle of Republican administration's foreign policy: it's fine, and sometimes good, to treat your pro-American friends like dirt. (i'm being polite, not using another word.) see Canada, Denmark, Mexico at end of week 2 of this administration.
Tom Cotton, presiding over Tulsi hearing, offers a very candid description of US foreign policy that is virtually never heard in Washington: "What matters, in the end, is less whether a country is democratic or not, more whether the country is pro-American or anti-American."
