Let's start with the most noticeable thing- Design
Arle and Furina both wear clothing typically associated with men, have white and black color scheme and a color accompanying it, Red for Arlecchino, Blue for Furina. Two colors that make their connection extremely obvious.

Besides the color scheme being both similar yet opposite, the design choices between them seem to be related too. Arlecchino has a lot of sharp edges and straight lines while Furina's design is flowy, with soft curvy lines, resembling water, creating a great contrast between them

Now, going a step further, their design perfectly mirrors their characterization.
Furina is surrounded by spotlight, appears to be carefree and uncaring, loud and sometimes even childish, even though we now know this isnt exactly who she is inside, still thats how she appeared.

Arlecchino is always surrounded by feathers, has wings, feathers in her design (her hair, sleeves, clothing), while Furina, being a previous oceanid and a god, has a design which is similar to water life, especially the oceanid fins on her back

Another thing related to design I would like to talk about is the feather/bird/angel symbolism of Arlecchino and the sea creature symbolism of Furina, which are also opposite forces, the water and the air, or more obvious, water and fire.

Also, Furina's whole theme is tears while Arlecchino barely ever shows any sign of emotion. Among them, the "god" is more human than the supposed "human" Arlecchino (which she probably isn't). Although, I think it's even more complicated than we imagine.
