We do! We as in me (
@rickyyean
), but also as the whole Flow Club community of ADHDers always body doubling to help keep each other accountable.
I can explain why body doubling works using SCIENCE from the studies I read about, if you just click to expand this tweet.

I would really like to understand how many of you benefit from body-doubling in some form.
I am also curious as to why you think it works for you. I want to understand what's going on cognitively...so I thought I'd ask!

Last week we launched the application for our very first ✨Host in Residence Program✨
This week, our three chosen hosts –
@IxoyeDesign
,
@heyAshleyK
, and Sipho – begin their residency to dedicate some flow time each week to a specific project for the month of August.
Let’s hear it for another one of our top 5 hosts,
@iamireneyu

Irene has a dedicated weekday Trivia Flow Club @ 10am ET that has helped her rack up over 750 sessions (book one of them using this link )
New week, new host - today we're excited to introduce you to Kera DeMars!
Kera is the Head of Marketing for
@HustleFundVC
and loves to jog, do yoga, and work in the garden. When she’s not adding to her 200 hours of flow that is 😮 (join her here )
💸
@xolee_steph
sold a content site on
@microacquire
for 50x what she first acquired it for.
She did all of her work in between her full time job and weekends – Flow Club was really helpful in helping her set boundaries and she's excited to keep going!
We wanted to be very intentional about this because giant todo lists that follow you everywhere do not make you feel good about getting work done.
In Flow Club, we commit to making progress on a small and manageable number of goals each session with support and celebration.
We designed this so that you get to choose! We hope this helps you balance making progress on a goal across multiple sessions while still allowing you to sometimes switch gears or start with a blank slate.
🚀
@goblin_tech_
launched her MVP!! It was her August intention to get it live and she was only 1 day late.
She wrote a lot of the code in Flow Club and received a lot of support from the community (some of who become founding goblins!)

Sometimes you just want someone to tell you it's okay, to give you permission, to say "Go for it! Do it now!" when you're just not sure about doing a thing.
Consider this your permission:
Go! You got this! Do the thing!

She’ll be on Flow Club writing and editing recipes from here on out, so cheer her on when you see her 🥳
Love it when members show up to Flow Club and at the end feel confident enough to call it the day. Building slack into your day helps you go much further.
