Ill bite. This misses the point about the conduct injunction. That was going to drop any day and when it did, we would have had to shut down all products and stop shipping until an appeal was won. You can’t build code in a closet for 3 years. That’s insane. In addition to that, in order to stay in bankruptcy to appeal, you have to convince the bankruptcy court that you have a viable business model to save. So even if you could convince yourself to build for 3 years without releasing, you then have to convince the court that there is a viable business model at the end when if you win and convince them of the probability of that outcome.

There’s been a lot of uncertainty since the end of the trial. Like always with these things I’ve had to stay quiet while I work out the details. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to share what I’ve been working on by early next week at the latest. 🌕
