yup. all he’d said was that he was retiring from the korean ent industry, never once did he say he was retiring from music or from acting entirely. i think ultimately he made the decision leave bb not only due to creative differences but also bc of the extreme public scrutiny.
its not like he wanted to actually retire. he had coachella and even renewed his contract. but at some point, it just becomes too much. he’s spent his entire life subjected to cruel public and all he wanted was for ppl to give him a break so he could make music in peace.
