@LorraineKinsman The topic of this year’s History Symposium asked us to consider what an inclusive history of Canada could/should look like and highlighted the responsibility we have as educators, curators, & historians to lift the voices of those who have been silenced.

In my red I stood atop the steps of the monument. An elderly man approached, took my hands, knelt down & said “On behalf of my country to yours, I thank you” & then he walked away. The freedom to LIVE, LOVE & LEARN in a world free from oppression is worth fighting for #truestory

Freedom FOR ALL in Canada is what my grandfathers fought for. Not for some….for all. Lest we forget.

Our soft top Jeep became a bit of a bird bath over the weekend and I kind of love it 😝 This is my kind of birdwatching ♥️

With 80km/hr wind gusts we had to hang onto each other & out hats today at Blackness Castle…..the fortress on the Forth.

Proud of my claustrophobic self for making it through the mines and countermines under St. Andrew’s Castle today. These mines date back to 1547 😳
