@Redkiraz I would agree with the view that one takeaway from what's happened and is happening in the US, is that we should ensure our public health research, funding, and infrastructure is global and distributed, & doesn't overly rely on a handful of countries.

This is not only cruel and selfish, but also incredibly short-sighted - many of the outcomes of these trials will benefit the whole world - including the USA The cruelty & stupidity of freezing aid suddenly without oversight or forethought is astounding.

@fehndrich Depends how much they gouge the funds for public health programs I suppose.

@Redkiraz We were never in a scenario where the rest of the world was "doing nothing". But public health is a global endeavour - we all have to work together.

@SquirrelPocket The site is back up now, though it's not yet known what may have been removed to bring it 'into compliance'. Banners suggest the scrubbing is ongoing.

@CovidDc I've heard that a lot of the vaccine information is back up, but have heard rumours that some (like for mpox) may be scrubbed or incomplete. I think 'routine' vaccines are likely back up. I hope you can find the information!
