This is actually v. exciting for Goornong & towns just north/ NE of
#Bendigo
. It’s been so long since passenger trains stopped there and they built a whole new station!
Can catch PT to Bendigo & Melb plus Goornong pub owner hopes peeps catch the train there for counter lunch etc
The first passenger train has just arrived at Goornong Station, with the new station now complete.
Locals and train enthusiasts here describe it as “historic”
