Reminder that Friends has aged horribly & contains a lot of homo/transphobic content, especially around the Chandler character, so be careful what you share.
That said, it's a tragedy to lose Matthew Perry, especially after all he has gone through & survived with addiction. RIP

I still think the "fandom" doesn't talk enough about just how badly production was handled on Series One. From three sex-pests in the cast, to an extra allegedly almost being killed, to Julie Gardner telling RTD to write a shirtless scene for then anorexic Christopher Eccleston.

Just once, it might be nice for a newspaper in this country to employ a pop culture commentator who knows at least the first thing about their subject. As a treat.

Come on, James, it's a video of a man talking about the death of his daughter in the Holocaust. There's a time and a place.
Oh, so Joe Lycett didn't shred £10, 000, it was just a publicity stunt to get people talking about Qatar. Well, that's wonderful! Thank goodness he did that because obviously nobody was talking about Qatar before the host of The Great British Sewing Bee got involved.

I don't like AI BUT it is very funny to see middle class media types suddenly caring about industries being taken over automation. They never cared when it was working class industries but as soon as it comes to their door!
The French revolution took place between 1789 and 1799 while 'Les Mis' takes place between 1815 and 1832 culminating in the June Rebellion.
Come on, lads.

The thing that you think happened didn't happen. The thing you think happened never happens... okay, it did happen. But it didn't happen like you said it happened. Besides, who cares if the thing that happened happened? What does it matter? Why do you even care?
My gay days are behind me now so I'm just taking a sociological/nosey parker interest in 'the scene'. Mind you, I wouldn't be tempted back with what I'm seeing.
The best thing about those Doctor Who collection sets is that I'll watch Part One of a story I've never liked and think 'actually, you know what, this isn't half bad, in fact it's pretty good' and five minutes into Part Two I'll no longer think that.

"Oh, well, that's alright then."
"He wants to see your bum."
But if the timelock's broken, then everything's coming through. Not just the Waterstones Dad, but the Skaro Degradations, the Horde of Travesties, the Nightmare Child, the Could-have-been King with his army of Meanwhiles and Never-weres.
'A war between two different groups both of whom have legitimate claim to a portion of land, is it, Russell? Well, better make sure you don't give it an unsubtle and potentially incendiary title. What's it called?'
A few years ago Old Testament Who got a re-airing on Twitch and seeing how quickly that young 21st century audience took William Russell to their hearts was lovely. They adored him! But then, didn't we all.
Stonehenge is protected by the ancient monuments act and it is a criminal offence to damage the Stones. There are also multiple rare lichen species growing on the stones that are also protected. Expect a prison sentence. 😡
My least favourite co-worker just said to me 'why do you always seem so distant?' and then I said 'the stars are distant too, does that make them any less beautiful?' which I thought was a great line but then the co-worker said 'yeah, but at least they're far away'.
See now in light of current events I might be inclined to not do a series about warring factions both with a claim to a piece of land with that title. Personally speaking of course.
