MBB: Muskingum beats Medaille, 88-77, at the Oberlin College Tournament. Marcus Dempsey poured out a career-high 48 points, making 15-of-20 from the field and 7-of-8 from the arc! He was close to the school record of 54 points which was set in 1912-13 by Babe Arnold.

head coach Hallie Donathan Coach of the Year for her outstanding performance this season. Donathan led the Muskies to an overall record of 25-7, a 7-2 slate in the OAC, and a spot in the OAC Tournament for the first time since 2006.

MBB: Muskingum fought its way back in the second half, but fell, 111-104 at Oberlin in the Oberlin College Tournament Championship game. Marcus Dempsey broke the school record by scoring 57 points!! The previous record was 54 points which was set by Babe Arnold in 1912-1913.
The Heacock brother trio of Jim (‘70), Jeff (‘76), and Jon (‘83) received a national shoutout during last Saturday’s prime time game between Iowa State and Oklahoma. The coaching trio has impacted countless student-athletes’ lives as part of the Long Magenta Line.

Great seeing Muskingum alum Josh Boyer ’00 leading the Dolphins in the NFL Playoffs as the Miami Defensive Coordinator. While he was at Muskingum, Boyer was a 2-time Academic All-OAC honoree in 1998 & 1999, while also earning All-OAC accolades as a defensive back for the Muskies.
